This is a Ladies-Only, BYOB event so take the challenge and match the menu below. Seating will be arranged by request first, and then by similar wines (i.e., Ch. Petrus will not be seated with Ch. Bargain) so ante up ladies! In keeping with our original format, be ready to explain to your tablemates why you chose the wine you brought and to teach us a little bit about it. About the Restaraunt: Spezia is run by husband and wife team Kevin Couch (executive chef) and Monica Couch (pastry chef) and General Manager, Renee Shea. This "foodie gem" excels in using good, simple, super fresh ingredients from local purveyors. Spezia has recently received 3 wine glasses (out of 4) in the Philly Mag Annual Food Issue and 2 Bells from Craig LaBan. Please join event chairperson Debby Allen at Spezia in its small, warm dining room with earth-toned stucco walls, stained-glass chandeliers and tapestries for a superb night of food, service and the usual Cencibel camaraderie! Our Menu Salad of Duck Confit, Endive & Arugula with Orange Vinaigrette and Candied Walnuts Red Snapper/Striped Bass (pending seasonal & purveyor availability) with Baby Spinach & Lobster Emulsion Rack of Lamb with Cannellini Bean & Tomato Ragu Passion Fruit Consomme Fresh Kiwi, Mango, and Pomegranate Swimming in Passion Fruit Soup Chilled with Housemade Mango Sorbet ~ Inclusive Cost: $60 per person (Members); $70 per person (non-Members) Your check reserves your seat. Mail check, payable to Cencibel, to 877 Briarwood Rd – Newtown Square, PA 19073. We must provide our final count to Spezia by February 10th. The guest and wine lists will be shared after that date to help with requested seating arrangements. Generic glasses will be provided but feel free to BYO stemware if you prefer. Directions to Spezia will be available on the site before Feb 10th.
