This event is available to Members Only (those who have paid their dues for 2002 and received the official Cencibel lapel pin).
Cencibel will gather at "Petite Passion," the Restaurant of the Culinary Arts Institute, at 30th & Market Streets in Center City Philadelphia (directly across from the PECO building) on Tuesday, November 12th. Paid, Lot parking is available across the street.
We will begin with butlered hors d'ouervres from 6:30 until 7:00 PM, prepared by Chef Colleen McDonough and team, to be followed by a sit-down class led by Lynn Apple, Robert Mondavi Winery's PA Representative. The class features wines from Robert Mondavi Winery created specifically for eduation, to familiarize the taster with various components in blended wines.
The cost is $30 per person inclusive.
If all of the above isn't enough to have you salivating, the hors d'oeurves list surely will:
House Cured Ham with Roasted Figs on Blue Cheese Biscuits
Smoked Trout with Caramelized Apple Crème Fraiche in Cucumber Cups
Seasonal Vegetables with Bagna Cauda
Venison Sausage with Cranberry Chutney on Walnut Crisps
Beet Cured Gravalax with Creamy Horseradish on Pumpernickle
Crackers, breads and water will be available during the tasting
