Gilmore’s, one of the hottest, hardest-to-get and absolutely worth-it reservations has reserved the first seating of the entire main room for Cencibel this night.
THE FOOD: Peter & Susan Gilmore have graciously offered their entire menu for Cencibel. We will be ordering from the menu—appetizer, entree and dessert—and will share the check evenly at the end. Expect to pay about $40 per person that evening (about $60/person less the required deposit of $20), which includes tax & tip, in cash or check to Deb.
THE WINE: With an evening of this size, wines will primarily be shared by each table so don’t let your table-mates down, and Peter’s dishes deserve our best; consider bringing both a white and a red, or similar, in conjunction with the menu items that strike your fancy, then decide as a table what is opened. Tables seat four; please let Deb know if you have a preference of tablemates.
GLASSWARE: You are invited to bring your own glasses (for the true geeks among us ;-) but Gilmore’s will supply each of us with one water, one champagne and two wine glasses.
RESERVATIONS: Seating is strictly limited to 26 and reservations are by deposit only. This event is full and a waiting list has been started.
Cencibel has committed to filling (and paying for) all seats so cancellations received after Feb 28 will be responsible for a $45/seat charge unless we are able to fill the seat.
This is certain to be one of the highlights of our Cencibel season; see you there!
