Cencibel Visits Carmine's in Havertown

Chef John Mims, a New Orleans native, created a "Mardi Gras" menu for Cencibel. This is a BYOB event so think about the course you want to match with and include your wine selection (and matching course) with your RSVP to Deb (cencibel@cencibel.net) or Daphne (357 Brookwood Dr - Downingtown, PA 19335 ). Cost is an unbelievable $50 per person inclusive of tax and tip - a great deal once you see this menu:
Appetizer: Eggplant New Orleans (Eggplant stuffed with shrimp, crab and crawfish)
Wine suggestions: crisp light white
Soup: Seafood Gumbo
Wine suggestions: fruity white (Sauv Blanc or Riesling)
Sauteed Quail topped with Seared Foie Gras and Exotic Mushroom Jus
Served with Carmelized Apple & Sweet Potato Hash
Wine suggestions: lighter red, pinot noir
Redfish Cortiboullion with Jambalaya
Wine suggestion: Spicey Reds like Zin or Syrah
Bananas Foster
Wine suggestion: any sweetie!
